Thanks to all our customers who visited us at the EMS show at the NEC in Birmingham during the last week of September. We loved catching up with new (and some not so new!) faces and were thrilled at the response to our new products and our new-look stand. We are busy following up all enquiries now..Thanks again to all the professionals who do such a great job every day!
Some of the highlights:
‘Working at Height Manikin’
Specially constructed to reduce slumping when using a rescue harness. This manikin is also used for patient handling training when the manikin needs to be seated in an upright position.
‘Bariatric’
The Fire Service had to rescue more than 900 bariatric patients last year. This requires special training. We offer 180KG and 260 KG models, but can also offer a ‘light weight’ version, if your training is more concerned with the patient size or bulk.
We also took the opportunity to get some feedback on an entirely new bariatric concept..so watch this space for a market launch over the coming months.
‘Full Bodied Airway Management’
First responders were very interested in our new airway management manikin. The torso has all the necessary anatomical landmarks to practice effective airway management training. Of course the manikin can also be trapped under a heavy object, used in an RTC recovery exercise or in confined spaces.
‘Ligature Manikin’
This manikin was designed in conjunction with the Leeds/Yok Mental Health Trust. It ensures that training for staff who face, and need to deal with, suicide on a regular basis is managed effectively and sensitively.
