It’s always encouraging to see countries around the world taking rescue training seriously. In an emergency, it is essential that rescue teams are properly trained to handle specialist technical rescues, including those from confined spaces, or at height.
Recently we came across some great photos from Romanian rope access experts Solo, who offer services to a range of customers working in civil construction, telecommunications and the gas and oil industries and wind industry.
Founded in 1992, they are the first rope access company in south-eastern Europe and also the first provider of training courses in working-at-height in this part of Europe.
All of their technicians are IRATA, GWO, SPRAT and ANC (Romanian Rope Access) certified and they offer courses from their training centre in Brasov (Romania), but also in partner locations in Bulgaria, Turkey, Moldavia, Serbia, Croatia and Macedonia.
They recently invested in Ruth Lee Working at Height manikins for their training and you can see the manikins in action in this great video:
Alex Kantor, Training Manager at Solo said;
“The Working at Height manikins are very useful for our training courses, as you can see from the video. We plan to buy at least 2 more for working at height and probably a water rescue manikin too.”
