Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this is a newly created, key role in the business aimed at driving sustainable growth. By developing new products and services, and adopting new technologies to better anticipate and fulfil customer training needs you will enhance the Ruth Lee brand and reputation as a global innovator.

SCOPE

• Research and document customer training needs in key sectors (UK/International)
• Run international Innovation Circle concept
• Research and document competitor product offering
• Research new technologies and suitability for adoption
• Identify and leverage collaboration partners (users/developers/test-labs/researchers/Gvt)
• Develop NPD strategy and individual projects in line with ROI guidelines
• Coordinate and drive new product development and testing ready for market launch
• Ensure all projects are properly documented in line with ISO/NPD requirements – own and drive the process.
• Contribute to go-to market strategy plan
• Improve existing products and assess opportunities for range rationalisation
• Secure IP protection where applicable
• Seek grant support from Governments and commercial partners.

PACKAGE

• Permanent contract
• £40K-£45K plus performance-related bonus
• Working Monday to Thursday 9am to 5pm and Friday 9am – 3pm with hybrid working consideration.

When you join Ruth Lee as a Trainee Assembly Operator, you are responsible for the preparation and final assembly of training manikins and training products. Full training will be provided, but you must have good manual dexterity and sound practical skills, as well as the ability to work within a team whilst prioritising individual workload.

Job Type: Full-time 40.5 hrs per week

Salary: £11.44 – £12.95 per hour

When you join Ruth Lee as a sewing machinist, you join a team dedicated to creating the best products in the world for training professionals who save lives.

Due to continued growth, we will be looking to recruit additional machinists to our team.

We offer an attractive hourly rate, plus an additional bonus scheme from £0.95 per hour.

This is a full-time position, 35.5 hours per week.

Industrial sewing experience is essential, although a 12-week training plan will be provided.

You will be part of a team that manufactures our training products.

This vacancy could be in Corwen or Glyndyfrdwy in Denbighshire LL21.

Bonus from £0.95 per hour

(Level 2 machinist uplift rate additional £0.50 per hour)
