We are proud to announce that we have officially joined IRATA, the leading association in the Rope Access Industry and the sole global trade association in the working at height sector.
Our emphasis is on safety and creating realistic training manikins for the most effective learning outcomes. This is especially pertinent in the current pandemic, with Covid19 necessitating a change of working practises to minimise person-to-person contact during social distancing. Many teams have approached us to switch to using manikins for their training and have not looked back.
Our Working at Height manikin is the preferred manikins for many Rope Rescue teams around the world and mentioned specifically by GWO (Global Wind Organisation) during the pandemic. It is designed to sit correctly in a rescue harness and is available in a range of weights, providing an accurate challenge for teams when creating strategies to rescue someone who has been injured or fallen ill whilst suspended.
Paul McDonnell, Managing Director at Ruth Lee Ltd,
“At Ruth Lee, we have a drive and commitment to improve safety training around the world, by providing teams with the tools to carry effective and realistic training. Our range of manikins are used by professionals all over the world for rope rescue and working at height training, where you would not want to risk a fellow colleague by expecting them to ‘act as a casualty’ in perilous working environments.
We are proud of the products we create and equally proud to now join IRATA as a corporate member. We hope that through this partnership we will be able to introduce Ruth Lee manikins to a wider audience of rope rescue experts who have the desire to enhance their current rescue training methods.”
