Casualty Rescue Kit

This kit is ideal for the safe extrication of casualties, including bariatrics.

Both Carry Sheets in the Casualty Kit have been tested within the requirements of the Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations (LOLER) 1998 and have a safe working load of 600kg; certificates are available on request.

This is a multi-functional kit offering flexibility depending on the specific rescue. The Slings are useful for manoeuvring the casualty, whilst the Carry Sheets allow several people to share the load of lifting more significant weight.

The Kit comes complete in a hard-wearing, splash-proof and wipeable bag which is brightly coloured for visibility in your vehicles.

1 x Super Bariatric Carry Sheet (2m x 1.8m)

1 x Standard Carry Sheet (1.8m x 1.2m)

Constructed in waterproof, Fire Retardant, polyester can be easily wiped clean and will not absorb body fluids.

12 x High Density, 50mm polypropylene webbing handles aid even weight distribution during lifting.

ABOUT THE BODY SLINGS

Designed to be used by two people, this simple piece of equipment makes the carrying of a conscious casualty far easier and safer. In the extrication of bariatric casualties these slings are also useful for lifting individual limbs.

Constructed in Polyester with Polypropylene webbing.

The Body Slings come with 3 handles for varying heights and has a safe working load 100Kg

INSPECTION RECOMMENDATIONS:

We highly recommend that you carry our inspections on this product and its contents to ensure that it is always in good condition and fit for purpose.

On Acceptance, after use and every 6 months, you should thoroughly visually inspect the product and its contents, paying particular attention to the handles and stitching. Check that each handle is fully secure and intact.
